Today, as you navigate your way down Main Street, in Wake Forest, NC, you will pass the most amazing array of flowers, plants and herbs. The new Holiday Garden Center will be set up outdoors until the end of June. This field of flowers is located near the Sonic Hamburger Stand. Of course, I had to stop and buy a few more of my favorite purple perennials. Then as I went into downtown, historic Wake Forest, on the way to the post office, I passed an old white building and more fields of flowers, plants and herbs on sale for the 12th annual Wake Forest Herbfest. The largest Herb Garden sale will be held until April 29, 2012 with ten days of entertainment, live bands, and the largest selection of herbs and local grown perennials. Don’t miss the organically grown heirloom vegetables and tomato plants. Wake Forest, NC is in full bloom now!
