NC State Fair 2012 Raleigh NC
The NC State Fair – October 11, 2012 to October 21, 2012, the schedule of events, and where you can purchase tickets this year. October 11th, Thursday is Preview Day and the gates will open at 3 p.m. The pig race begins at 5 p.m. Every night the Fireworks begin at 9:45 p.m. Don’t miss the Appaloosas, Walking and Spotted Saddle Horses on Friday along with the Livestock Shows.
The North Carolina State Fair is held at the Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh – The N.C. State Fairgrounds is easily accessible from the I-440 Beltline, I-40, as well as from Blue Ridge Road, N.C. Highway 54 (Hillsborough Street) and Edwards Mill Road. Free parking is available on State Fair and Carter-Finley Football Stadium property, except for recreational vehicles that park between the hours of midnight and 8:00 a.m.
Hours of Operation: Fairgrounds Gates Open 8 a.m. – midnight Except Oct. 11, when gates open at 3 p.m. Fairgoer must have advance ticket, or purchase admission ticket prior to 9:45 p.m., in order to enter gates between 10 p.m. and closing.
