Elvis is making an appearance this Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Hoy Auction in downtown Wake Forest, NC. The Blues Brothers, Jake and Elwood will be joining him at the live auction beginning at 5 p.m.
My favorite local auction house is the Hoy Auction on main street. When I relocated to North Carolina in 2006, my sister took me to this fun place to bid on furniture, pottery, lamps and antiques. Jay Hoy, the auctioneer and his family have a nice way of making everyone feel right at home! When I passed by the building yesterday, I had to turn the car around and snap these photos of these life-size characters that will be auctioned off this weekend. I am sure you will find plenty of entertainment with Elvis, John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd! It will be a full house! I can’t wait!
